Coinbase Gives Access to Over 2,696,000 Webstores Utilizing Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash
Coinbase continues to garner mainstream attention by expanding its new platform for online crypto payments.

Coinbase’s new project Coinbase Commerce, has developed payment modules for WooCommerce, Shopify, PrestaShop, Magento and OpenCart.
This gives users access to about 2,696,000 online shops with the option to use Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash as payment. Twitter’s Kevin Rooke posted the figures:
“Our mission at Coinbase is to create an open financial system, so we’ve designed this solution to serve merchants worldwide. Unlike previous merchant products we’ve offered, Coinbase Commerce is not a hosted service, so merchants have full control of their own digital currency.”

Coinbase a series of reasons for ecommerce platforms to sign up. The company claims it’s there to support companies through the process of setting up the clients checkout pages, as well as guidance for payment buttons and various ecommerce integrations. Coinbase allows companies the freedom behind a hosted platform while they maintain ownership. Coinbase Commerce is dedicated towards the security of its platform, as well as giving companies the ability to accept cryptocurrency payments for free.

Coinbase’s Coinbase Commerce also gives companies full access to its various features, a robust API, customized payment buttons, as well as hosted checkout pages.
